It’s Snapper season!! Great client Chris recently added the 8-10kg snapper spin to his existing 6-8kg model. Built on the legendary Sabre blank, this one has all Fuji componentry. These are a superb all round composite reef spin option and really come into their own lightly floating pilly or flesh baits down. The resurgence of popularity in the retro mustard/tan colour has been amazing - and the modern versions definitely come out as a very smart looking stick - we have limited numbers of the mustard coloured blanks left and they always go quick - so if you want to pick one up for our winter reef season - now is the time!!!!

A pimped up Samurai Slugger for Adam. This one had an upgraded Fuji Sic guide train, and a new approach to the transition areas on the grips using alloy checks. Add a tailor decal and all black binding with ice blue and silver trims and you’ve got a proven weapon for throwing lures for Tailor off the beach. As with every year, we are building a lot - if you want one now for the upcoming season - suggest you get in early!!

A stunning 37-60kg LBG custom for Jude. This one is on the Sabre blank and has been shortened to 7’ overall length. It had been paired with a #4 Alps unibutt as it will be housing a 130W. Binding scheme was a metallic purple underbind with metallic silver trims and black overbinds - bound in multiple separate layers with epoxy on each layer for strength and durability. Winthrop roller tip. Ready to do battle with the taxman!

A 37-60kg land based game stick heading north for Jasper. This one is on the United composites blank and will be matched either either a 50W or 80W, which is why we have been able to use a #2 Aftco unibutt rather than a #4(which are needed for a 130W). All black presentation on the build from butt to Winthrop roller tip. This one will be used to target big tigers and bulls land based.

A sweet pair of 15kg strokers for return client Mason to match one we did for him last Marlin season. Built on the legendary Sabre G3 blanks, we have made a few modifications as Mason is not fishing larger reels - so we downsized the stripper one size and utilized a #1 Aftco unibutt instead of a 2. The end result is a very streamlined stroker perfectly matched with the reel. Fuji Sic guide train on this pair with Winthrop roller tips - they really are a sweet stroker option in this line class. Heading south and will be used predominantly for chasing Marlin.

A Gippy Bream Stick heading south for Paul. This one was rolled for a spinning reel with longer shaped rear grip. All Fuji guide train - double foot for stripper, then singles for remainder to retain original blank action as much as possible. We only have 1 of these white CR4126 left - PM is if you’d like your name on it!!!
