Brett and Nolsy really wanted to target snapper after the month long closure but the weather was not playing nice, so they decided to head up the creeks to hide from the strong winds and chase some whiting and bream. They had a good morning with Brett landing a respectable 37cm whiting and Nolsy with a nice 36cm tarwhine, They were using Alvey 55GC, 10lb Alvey Trueblue mono on a Gary Howard 3 wrap Breambo, size 1 bean sinker, size 5 Gamakatsu Hyper Swivel, 10lb Atomic Linez leader, size 1 Gamakatsu worm hook, and live yabbies for bait.
