Some rods are more than just tools, they’re a part of family history.
This Berkley Fly Rod has seen many exciting adventures and was passed down from father to son. It recently came in with a broken reel seat, and it was a privilege to give it new life with a high-quality replacement.
The old reel seat was carefully removed, the blank prepared, double binding and new seat fitted.
There’s something special about restoring a rod that holds so many memories, it’s more than a repair, it’s preserving a story.
