I agree. It's been a minute. Sure, I'm not just about the watercraft anymore, but I'm all about keeping warm in winter.

I've had a few people ask about getting a replacement for the most versatile workshop garment ever, so, I thought I'd test the waters to see if it's worth doing another run.

Usual sizes include Man, Woman, and Child in a variety of colours (samples to follow). Pricing will be dependant on supplier, but, as per other runs, it will be as low as I can make it.

Let me know if you're keen on celebrating being somewhat ordinary, mostly awkward, and massively misunderstood.

Here it is. You never asked, but I'm going to tell you anyway!

As most people know, I started RP as a bit of a p**s take. I knew bu**er all about anything, but took pride in learning the hard way and showing people a better, if not cheaper way to do things. Essentially, being the black sheep was what it was all about.

Fast forward 13 years. I met a s**t load of awesome people, went to some amazing places, and had some epic opportunities all around the world. A lot of skis came and went, a lot of fibreglass was layed, and a LOT of chemical fumes and fibreglass dust was ingested.

I wake up one morning out of the blue, and have what could be best described as vertigo, but not actually vertigo. It's hard to explain to people but think of how you would feel, getting off a spinning swing while hung over, but having that feeling 24/7. After exhausting every possible option to get a cure, I slipped into something I can only assume is chronic anxiety and depression. This, mixed with the s**t show that is life, forced me me to stop doing the very things that actually kept me going.

Whatever the hell I have, it's not going away any time soon (now 5 years in). I seem to find comfort in getting back to what I enjoy, which is messing with things, getting out and about and actually having fun again.

While jetskis aren't really my jam anymore (I still own a few though). I thought I'd revive RP and get back to my roots...random s**t. We still blow s**t up, we still do stupid things all the time, and every now and then we stumble across something that works, and is helpful.

This isn't a sob story, nor a comeback...it's just a reconnection with better times that I'd like to get back to. You never know how good things are until they're gone.

Been a minute...

So today marks the day I pull down the garage door at Random Performance for the very last time.

Unfortunately due to ongoing health and personal issues, I can't operate the business the way it should be to a decent level anymore.

It's been a fair journey over the last 20 years which started with buying a ski I couldn't even ride. The business, and this sport has given me many opportunities that I otherwise wouldn't have had, so for that I'm very thankful.

I've met a lot of great people from all over the world, and had the chance to hang out with a lot of them personally.

There's been a lot of ups, and unfortunately a lot of downs that have had a profound effect on me.

All in all, it's been a lot of fun, but it's time to move on. Thanks to all the people that have supported RP in one way or another, and also gave me a chance when I first started out. I only started RP to help people out, and get them into the sport that I loved so much. Hopefully it wasn't all in vein, and I've been able to help a lot of you guys out and send you down the right paths.

If you're anything like me, you start drinking immediately after finishing a decent session in the surf. Not only do you leave most of your s**t at the beach, your ski only gets a quick rinse and gets pushed into the corner with little thought about cracking the hood.

Address your negligence before summer hits by swapping money for a set of these ATP electrical cables. Mostly suited to Superjets, but have been known to be used in SXR's, Wet Bikes, and Nissan Pathfinders.

First lot of hoodies have arrived. I'll be doing my best to mess up your order and send you the wrong size and colour at some stage tomorrow. Anyone that wanted something a little custom, well, you have to wait a bit longer because you are diffcult, so difficult in fact that The Daily Mail Australia will no doubt do a s**tty story about it, you, and your somewhat chequered past. Were you one of the lucky ones that ordered an RP hoodie last week? Well, the good news is that pretty much all payments have been recieved and the order has been submitted. I hope to have some ready to start shipping out late this week, but with over 100 orders, it could take me some time to get them all in the post. If you're local, I'll probably deliver, just like that pirate delivers paper in his beat up Falcon wagon at stupid o'clock in the morning. I'll rip into your driveway, hurl your stuff at the closest window, and drop an abitious chirpy upon my exit. Good times fam.

To last week when I put the call out for RP hoodies. Well, today is the last day to place your order. Cut off is at 4pm this afternoon 30/04/20 (Aus bush time), but if you happen to miss it, I won't be mad. Some people would have noticed that I've been sending out payment details.
