👜 I had been busy before Christmas making these fully lined gorgeous bags.

They made a perfect secret Santa gift, a birthday party gift, teacher gift, friend gift, I even filled some for my friends girls with hair accessories so they can keep all their hair accessories together instead of all over the house!

I really love making these 💕

Sock Protectors

Now that the weather is warming up we are getting outside for play in the sand, digging in the dirt, going out to the bush and mowing! These sock protectors come in handy to stop all the dirt, twigs & grass clippings from getting into your shoes.

Ava and Flynny gave the kids sock protectors a good test down the creek to chop some wood yesterday. They both agreed, it didn't feel like they had them on and although their sock protectors are dirty they didn't get any dirt or sticks in their boots 👍

We are back into Term 3 now but we had a very quiet and relaxing school holidays. With 2/4 kids not well we were forced to stay at home and rest, which was actually what we all needed. It also meant that I got a little bit of time to do some sewing.

I had a few things on my list to try, I didn't get to all of them but here are some!

I am really happy with how they all turned out. I also started a Duffle coat for Ava 😍 stay tuned for that finished product!!!

I am still here! Sorry, I have been very quiet on this page. We are in the thick of kids sports at the moment with not one free afternoon, sports on Saturday & Sunday & also throw in school sports it's made for a very busy term! I love watching my kids play sports & do activities they love but it doesn't leave much time for sewing 🤪

I made an effort to get into the sewing room this week & make something I've been wanting to try to a long time. So I did just that. I loved being back. It gets addictive quickly, though. I have already made a new hoodie for Ava & cut out a matching one for myself & ordered more fabric because the boys all want one too ☺️

Also not just for glasses. Ava has claimed the pink one to put her stationary in. We do homework when we are in between Flynn's Karate & Ava's Gymnastics classes so this will be a nice way to keep all her stationary together 💕

With the next couple of weeks being flat out for our family we decided that this Easter long weekend would be a Lazy weekend for us. We had a fire pit night and of course the Easter bunny paid us a visit and we visited family but today was a do whatever you feel like day. The boys hung out on the devices, Ava helped her Dad do some sheep work and i got to cut out an couple of orders and make something new that I have been wanting to do for awhile.

I cannot believe I have not shared these photos. I made this set for Ava & matching dress for her dolly in March last year!! Ava was in her element showing me how she was able to do handstand without flashing anyone 🫣🤣. She also loved modelling with her dolly getting her to do some poses. Even our pet lamb Ricky Bobby made it into the photo shoot 🤣🤣
