Two years ago, on this first day of the Australian F1 Grand Prix, Melbourne descended into the chaos of Covid.
Whether you love or hate the buzzing of those F1 cars, the sudden silence of those loud engines was quickly followed by the decimation of the famous Melbourne vibe & culture as we know it.
For two years, the silence was deafening… no kids our schools, no cars on our roads, no planes in our skies, no people in our pubs, restaurants.
No People on the dance floors.
No smiles on our masked faces😔
Fast forward 2 years later, listening to the loud buzz of these magnificent machines this morning, gives me new hope that our city is slowly on it’s way back.
The only way we are going to get there quicker, if all of us get out there and pls support our vibrant hospitality industry.
There is a plethora of fun bars, pubs & restaurants open this Grand Prix weekend, so pls show them some love.
One of those amazing Melbourne iconic venues which will be buzzing this weekend, is
Grand Prix Saturday
One of the powerhouses of Australian music industry ,will be on action on the decks.
Pls check The Albion Rooftop socials for more info.
