The Thrift Shop is open today, with fundraising going to the Pinnaroo Show & Field Day, plus businesses open as usual! Including , , Pinnaroo Hotel, Outta Mallee Newsagency, Mallee Pharmacies, Foodland, and of course is in town too!

It's 11pm as I'm posting - so it still counts as August 1st for launching this year's SALA Exhibition right?! Swipe to see this year's "glow up"...Okay, not really a glow up, just a little name change! A lot of work goes in to an exhibition, but my intention with 'SALA In The Mallee', as it was last year too, is that this can be a way to share a little colour around town without a huge undertaking by those involved. So you get to follow along the journey with us this year in an Evolving Exhibition!

Yesterday I caught up with the beautiful Jo & Jacqui, both Pinnaroo/Mallee girls that now call Renmark home. , aka BOHOJO, has a gorgeous studio space set up in Renmark, conveniently around the corner from the delish Riverland Country Style Kitchen! It worked perfectly to meet on her lunch break, cue good food and great chats before taking their artwork to the car!

It doesn't end there though.. In the 40m from studio to car, we met a Melbourne photographer and a macaw!! How's that for your average Wednesday afternoon ☀️
