For us, A Brush with Art is about so much more than hosting an exhibition.

It's about supporting regional South Australia, celebrating creativity, and giving people another reason to visit Peterborough.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing the stories behind our involvement in this year's Flinders Ranges – A Brush with Art program and inviting you to experience everything that makes Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery such a special place to visit.

At the heart of our program is Growing Together—a community artwork that won't be complete until the people who visit Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery become part of it. We'll be following its journey as it grows, one contribution at a time.

Along the way, we'll also introduce you to Wild Threads: Art, Land & Renewal, share moments from Little Makers, and take you behind the scenes of Stories Under the Stars.

Most importantly, we hope this campaign encourages you to spend a little more time exploring Peterborough and supporting the wonderful people, businesses and experiences that make our region so special.

Whether you're visiting for the art, the alpacas, the café, the farm shop, or simply a day out, we'd love to welcome you to Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery.

This is only the beginning of the story, and we can't wait to grow it together.

For Workshop Wednesday, we’re looking at just how versatile alpaca fibre can be.

Some of our homegrown fibre is hand-felted into practical Alpaca Dryer Balls, while other fleece is transformed into our signature Alpaca Flowers.

Put them together and you get a gift box that’s part practical, part beautiful — and completely connected back to the farm and the alpacas who grew the fibre in the first place.

That’s one of the things we love most about working with alpaca fibre... seeing how one natural material can become something completely different depending on what happens at the workbench.

Sometimes you come across another small business and think...

That's always been Story Book Cakes for us.

Like Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, they're a regional family business that started with an idea, a whole lot of passion, hard work, and probably more late nights than they'd care to remember.

Of course, it helps that their products are ridiculously good.

We've lost count of the number of people who come back looking for another pack (or two!) of their favourite Cake in a Mug mix—or who are delighted to discover a new flavour, like the gorgeous Christmas range.

THE HOUSE IS TINY. THE SKY ISN’T.

Our four Alpaca Paddock tiny houses by Tiny Away sit in an open paddock at Quentin Park Alpacas & Studio Gallery, just outside Peterborough in regional South Australia.

Each tiny house sleeps two and includes a kitchenette, bathroom with a hot shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Outside, there’s room to sit around the fire, watch the farm go about its business and see just how many stars fit into a proper dark sky.

Guests can also explore our designated farm trail and gardens, then visit the farm shop and café during opening hours. And yes, there’s a reasonable chance an alpaca will wander past.
