Had the loveliest tote bag workshop last weekend!

Helping you learn to sew for the first time, from winding a bobbin and threading your machine, to cutting and pinning your fabric, to learning to sew fancy French seams, and ending up with a beautiful and useful tote bag at the end, fills me with joy. 🥰

Look at these amazing PJ shorts finished in the Learn to Sew workshop yesterday! 🙌

The next Learn to Sew 5 week course starts on Sunday 17 May, and I’ll be adding some new workshops soon, including a Shift Dress, Ruffle Tote and Bucket Hat, so watch this space.

Another lovely sewing class today! We started by taking measurements, cutting out paper patterns to our size, and then cutting out our PJ shorts pieces from fabric. We also stitched the leg seams and prepared the waistband with interfacing. I was too busy chatting to take many photos! 😅 We’ll be finishing the PJ shorts next Sunday 🥰 - Suzie
