One year ago, I took a leap of faith and opened Little Honey Lane with a dream of creating a space where women could shop for their little honeys and themselves all under one roof. Somewhere people could slow down, connect and feel at home.
With no experience and very little knowledge about running a small business, hope and determination became my fuel to get Little Honey Lane off the ground. And then suddenly, I was here in this cosy little space day in and day out and what unfolded over the past year far exceeded my wildest dreams.
Hope no longer needed to be my fuel. The community that is Little Honey Lane quickly replaced my need for hope.
Saturday felt like such a testament to that.
The way our little community showed up is something I’ll never forget. Seeing the store filled with so many beautiful humans supporting this little business filled my heart in the most overwhelming way.
“Customers” doesn’t even feel like the right word anymore. So many of you have become familiar faces, little chats throughout the week, friendships, support systems and such a meaningful part of this journey.
Little Honey Lane simply would not exist without you.
As we step into year two, I feel more excited than ever for what’s ahead. Community is definitely a word to watch around here this year. We’re only just getting started 🍯
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting this little dream of mine. Thank you for shopping small, sharing us with your friends, bringing your babies into store, sharing your stories, cheering us on and helping Little Honey Lane become what it is today.
And a very special thank you to the beautiful people who helped make our birthday celebration and the past year so special:
To my amazing family and friends (my village) and all of the neighbouring Padbury businesses who have made me feel so at home from day one. And I’m sorry to those I’ve missed a tag with, I have so many wonderful humans to thank.
Bring on year 2 ❤️🔥
