So things are getting interesting now! Just arrived at DHF headquarters is the Technics SL-1300G. This is a very "hi-fi" design featuring ΔΣ-Delta Sigma Drive, a new motor drive technology that delivers high rotational accuracy and low vibration. The turntable’s new motor, three-layer platter, and high-rigidity chassis ensure high sound quality. We've fitted a slick Ortofon Concorde Black cartridge to this deck. It was a joy fitting this MoFi Electronics StudioSilver Moving Coil cartridge to its sibling turntable (a MoFi StudioDeck) this week. No, this isn't the "pipe and slippers" sound you remember from your parent's hifi system, this is punchy, resolving, airy and honest. We love it. Client loves it!
