Our work with Galleria Shopping Centre showcases how flexible design and hire solutions can deliver a seamless Christmas experience—year after year.

From a striking 6m reindeer feature in 2023 and 2024 to a carefully reconfigured Santa Set in 2025, we adapted the installation to suit major redevelopment works—without losing the magic.

By repositioning the Santa Set and strategically adjusting garlands and wreaths, we ensured every accessible part of the centre stayed festive, welcoming and engaging.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can evolve with a space—while still delivering strong customer experience and visual impact.

We’ve partnered with the City of Gosnells since 2022 to deliver festive installations for Jingle All the Way, transforming Centennial Pioneer Park into a vibrant Christmas experience for thousands of visitors.

From immersive themed zones and Santa sets to interactive selfie moments, every element is designed to encourage connection, participation, and joy.

The 2025 event featured a log cabin Santa set, reindeer stables, a Snow Queen installation, and more, all delivered within a tightly coordinated single-day event.

One of the questions we get asked most is what a Christmas company does when it’s not Christmas. While the festive season might still feel a long way off, at Dec the Malls preparations are well underway. Here’s what we have been working on in May…

Behind the scenes our warehouse team are hard at work improving our inventory systems and ensuring the warehouse remains organised as they send orders out to clients across the country. They're also assisting in updating training resources to guarantee our team deliver high quality installations at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, our Design and Estimating teams are busy putting the finishing touches on new projects and locking in bookings for 2026. They've also been confirming orders and monitoring production in process with our international partners. There are some fantastic displays on the way this year!

We've also been undertaking audits of our safety, quality and environmental management systems, undertaking staff training and developing new product catalogues that we're excited to release very soon.

May is a month of planning and preparation to ensure a successful season ahead. At Dec the Malls, it really is Christmas all year ✨✨

Introducing our Double Gumnut & Leaf Motif, another of our exclusive sculptural lighting displays inspired by the distinctive forms of Australia’s native eucalyptus trees. Forming part of our Australian Christmas Motif Collection our Creative Director, Jeremy Boyd, described this design:

“A pair of sparkling gumnuts forms the focal point of this dazzling display, backed by two gum leaves that add drama, height and sweeping elegance.”

Drawing inspiration from native Australian flora, our Eucalyptus Blossom & Leaf Motif brings a distinctly local feel to festive lighting design. Featuring illuminated eucalyptus blossoms paired with an illuminated gum leaf, the piece elegantly reflects the natural warmth of an Australian Christmas.

As part of our Australian Christmas Motif Collection, each display has been thoughtfully designed in-house by creative director Jeremy Boyd to offer a contemporary alternative to traditional festive décor.

Did you know there are only about 25 weeks left until we start installing displays for Christmas 2026? This month we have some important order deadlines approaching particularly for new, large-scale and custom-designed displays. We encourage you to confirm orders for these displays by the end of May where possible. This allows ample time for production and shipping of display components from our European partners.

Smaller decoration suites and displays are still available, but we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible to discuss your plans for Christmas 2026.
