Using the Derpy Tiger Layered Embosser

Made some cookies a few weeks ago for my little niece Peyton's first birthday.

Kept it simple, with only two stamps. Her big sister Madi told me which colours would work, so we went with blue, pink and purple.

I used the detailed mermaid cutter and debosser.

Madi was able to make her own cookies with the left over fondant and she has a blast!

Being asked to be Baby Viktoria’s god-mother is something I will treasure forever. Thank you to my brother and sister-in-law for trusting me with such a special role in her life. It means more than I can properly put into words.

Her baptism also gave me the chance to create something deeply meaningful - a cookie set that reflects the beauty of the Orthodox faith, and Viktoria’s Ukrainian and Australian heritage. That’s why you’ll see both English and Ukrainian text woven into the designs.

These cookies were a complete surprise, and a little bit of a risk… especially since I don’t speak Ukrainian. Being a heartfelt gift meant I could create freely, guided purely by love, symbolism, and intention.

Faith, family, culture, and celebration - all in one little set.

So close to releasing the STLs for this stamp set! I will have a Serif font coming soon as well. The physical stamps will be a few weeks away while I work out packaging options!

New font sets coming soon!

We'll be launching these first as STL (digital files), with physical products to follow. If you've got a 2D printer, now's a great time to invest in a 0.2mm nozzle - it will make a big difference for some of these finer styles.

Some of the fonts have a few little tricks to get the cleanest, sharpest finish, so I'll be putting together tutorial videos to go along with the release - Look for JLL Cookie Cutter Co. on youtube and make sure you're subscribed!

This soft, handwritten style is just one of the looks you'll be able to work with!

Happy New Year!

2025 was about saying yes to opportunities - running my own business while taking on a waterproofing gig that ended up being far busier than planned. Long weeks, early starts, and a good reminder that as much as I love working for myself, I really missed the social side of being around people.

Straight off the plane from New Zealand and back into cookies to kick off 2026. This custom baby shower set was a nice reset — clean neutrals, simple shapes, and timeless teddy details. Cookie cutters are still the priority this year, with plans to expand into new 3D printing projects and spend more time building things over in NZ as we split time between both countries.
