Love 'em or hate 'em, SRAM components dominate the gravel segment.

SRAM brakes have always needed more TLC than their competitors - regular bleeding and caliper maintenance the key to a long life.

We often find that one of the pistons need to be "trained" back into position so they both meet the disc in the middle of the caliper.

I think they might have finally perfected the formula with their latest generation of Rival and Force levers, but it's too early to tell.

The Norco Optic (in all its forms) is the GOAT for aggro short travel trail bikes (in my opinion)

Here we have two generations of Optic, one using Norcos familiar Horst suspension layout, and the newer generation running the High Pivot layout by iTrack

Both rip. Both are excellent 👌

What's hiding in your oil?

Shock oil and brake fluid need to be vacuum bleed before the system is filled (and bled again)

Pretty easy to see why 😜

My obsession with Norco dates back to 2006.

Lots of custom internal work done on the forks + the original Super Deluxe DH and the Float X2 (currently fitted)

Super aggro rear tyre, too - very, very different setup philosophy compared to my Optic 😉
