So after almost 10 years of C+Co. being my baby, my husband, Chris, and I are super excited to be having our own actual human baby! 👶 (hopefully very soon because I’m tired AF)
The best part of running your own business is getting to choose when to take maternity leave. The worst part, not actually getting to take maternity leave 😂 but at 37 weeks pregnant, I think it’s time I attempt to put my feet up and ‘relax’ 🧘♀️
Things won’t change too much in-store as my amazing team will keep the wheels spinning and I’ll be running things mostly from home but don’t be surprised if you see me in-store in the coming months, baby carrier on, restyling things and moving stock. Hopefully when the baby is out, I’ll be told off a lot less for lifting things 🏋️ using ladders 🪜 and won’t mess up displays with my belly 🤰
The biggest thank you for all of your support so far - some of you have been shopping with me since I opened my first tiny store at the Fremantle Markets (or even before then when I sold my artwork!) and have followed along this whole time. Every purchase, like and comment doesn’t go unnoticed and is so appreciated. I accidentally started a business all those years ago and now have a life I absolutely love, thanks to all of you ❤️
I’ve got no idea what I’m in for on this wild ride, but I just keep reminding myself that I’m not the first one to have a baby and run and business and everything will be finnnneeeee ✌🏼Delulu me thinks that I’ll actually have more time when the baby comes 😂
Unhinged parenting tips are welcomed ⭐️ Also, stripes trending while pregnant is a sick, cruel joke and I’m having regrets taking part in it 😂
