When bags are made, the leather that covers the piping is shaved thinner so it can be easily wrapped over the inside tubing. This means it can wear through quicker. Fortunately we can fix this for you.

Sticky peeling lining? Why not get a new leather lining made.
In this Louis Vuitton bucket bag we used all the original leather trims and made a new leather lining to replace the vinyl coated one. These perish, peel and get really sticky with age even on bags that are in good condition like this one.

New Vachetta leather trims were made for this Louis Vuitton Neverfull.
The top binding was replaced along with 2 new side straps.
The leather was tinted to give it a patina to tone in with the original handles. It looks fresh and new and still considerably less expensive than a new LV.

This Louis Vuitton speedy had a full clean inside and outside. We also made a new leather zipper pull tab, moisturised the leather trims and hand painted the worn pattern on the corners. As good as new 🥰

The base of this leather duffle was completely replaced using real leather. 🐄 Why the manufacturer tragically used vinyl on the base only and not leather is a complete mystery to me.
As you can see, vinyl will wear out after a few years but the rest of the bag in leather was in perfect condition.
