One afternoon, in that long stretch between 3pm and dinner, Quinn was playing with her toys when she turned to her teddy bear and said, “I know, let’s play hide-and-seek!” 🧸✨

Our Teddy Bear print was inspired by quiet little moments of childhood. The ones filled with imagination, gentle play, and the kind of simple magic that becomes part of the memories we hold onto most.

The new mothers, the grandmothers, the expecting mothers, and the mothers-to-be.
The mothers who are carrying love alongside loss.
The mothers who are no longer here, but are still held so closely in the hearts of those who miss them.
And the women who long to be mothers, or who have known the ache of losing what was hoped for.

Without mothers, there is no life. They are the heartbeat of family, of home, of community, and of so much of what holds us together.

Today can feel joyful, tender, heavy, beautiful, or all of those things at once.

Every Fledge and Thread design begins by hand, first with a paintbrush, then slowly brought to life into pieces made for little ones 🪿

What starts as paint on paper becomes part of a story, ready to be wrapped around childhood in the form of bedding, clothing, and keepsakes.

This is one of our favourite parts of the process, seeing something once imagined so quietly become something real.

A print that began in our Perth studio, now made to live in nurseries, bedrooms, and the everyday moments families will remember for years to come 🥹🥹
