Everest V**e is closing,
any day now our brick & mortar store will be shut along with our online store. We wish it didn't have to be like this, but due to Mark Butler and the Labor government amendments to to***co control- changes have been made to the legality of ALL VA**NG DEVICES! It is now illegal to sell absolutely anything v**e related in a retail setting from July 1st 2024.
However!
You can still buy a sh*tty v**e from a pharmacy with a doctors script & then without a script from October, flavours available will be Mint, Menthol & To***co. We are absolutely astounded that it has gone this way, but with 14-18 billion dollars every year from to***co tax alone- i guess we can all see why they are making it as hard as possible for you to v**e. Please remember how this all played out, how they have taken our freedom of choice for a healthier alternative, Remember this next election, and just maybe in the future (after the va**ng black-market explodes) we will have someone in power with a little more common sense.

Petition EN5905 - Repeal and Review Proposed March 1st V**e Ban

Please read and sign this petition. Whether you are a v**er, smoker or none of the above. Consenting adults have the right to choose. To drink, gamble, smoke; or not. So why take away their right to v**e? the key issue with this v**e ban is the freedom of true choice, not the misguided freedom to choose within the constraints of the governments agenda.
Many other countries are aware of and support the health benefits of va**ng as a replacement. Why are we being excluded!

During a cost of living crisis, the Labor Govt is making 1.3m Aussies criminals through their nanny state ban on va**ng.

Labor doesn't understand how tough people are doing it.

Let's focus on keeping v**es out of schools and leave adults to make their own choices.

*Encouraging Developments:* Recent news reports indicate a growing number of MPs are advocating for the legalisation and regulation of va**ng, rather than enforcing a prohibition model. This shift in perspective, though not a guaranteed win, shows that politicians pay attention when Australian v**ers speak out!

*The Importance of Persistence:* While this news is promising, it's crucial that we don't let up now. Every phone call, email, and meeting adds weight to our cause. We need to continue pushing!

*Action Points:*

1. **Continue Contacting the Federal Greens:** It's essential that we keep the pressure on the Federal Greens. Demand they adopt a policy to regulate va**ng. Remind them of the support for regulated va**ng among many of their state counterparts. The NSW Greens back regulated v**es, why don't they?!

2. *Question the Lack of Policy Position:* Encourage the Greens to release a clear policy position on va**ng. Question their reluctance, ask them why they can openly support legalised cannabis but will not say a word about legalising v**es.
