There's something so satisfying about making bread from scratch, especially that first slice while it's still warm. And with the Wolstead stand mixer from Kitchen Warehouse doing the hard work of kneading, it's a lot less intimidating than it looks! No fancy bread machine needed, just a few simple ingredients, a little patience and a kitchen that smells AMAZING! 🥖✨

SEE THE RECIPE FROM MISSIE! ⬇️

INGREDIENTS:

🍞 500g bread flour
🌿 7g sachet of yeast
💧 1⅓ cups lukewarm water
🧂 1 tsp salt
🍬 2 tsp sugar

METHOD:

1️⃣ Mix your yeast in a small amount of water to bloom. Then add remaining water.
2️⃣ Mix dry ingredients, then make a well and pour in water.
3️⃣ Combine mixture and knead either by hand or stand mixer with dough hook until a smooth, soft and elastic ball.
4️⃣ Lightly grease (She uses olive oil spray) a bowl, and put your dough ball in it to rise. Cover with a tea towel for 45 to 60 mins.
5️⃣ Knead dough again for a few minutes, and shape into a loaf.
6️⃣ Place in lightly greased loaf pan for a further 25 minute rise. Preheat oven to 200C
7️⃣ After second rise: score your loaf and place in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
