On Saturday 11 April at the entry to our Rotary Pearce Community Centre Market, Technology for Ageing and Disability ACT, TADACT, will be demonstrating what they do every day to improve the quality of life for those with a disability. They will be the recipients of our Gateway Donation Bucket, receiving your donations to assist with their work.

Pearce Community Centre Markets

The Autumn Markets are on Saturday, 11 April between 9am and 2pm. The Rotary Club of Woden Daybreak provides the local community with a fun event. There will be stalls selling quality arts and crafts, food, toys, homeware, jewellery and accessories, books and lots more. Along with the Rotary outside market there is the inside Pearce Crafters Market with, all up, some 40-50 stalls. And there is even more for you at this April market! A Lego Market will be happening as well!

Our charity of choice for the dollars received in our donation bucket will be going to TADACT this time. TADACT, Technology for Ageing and Disability ACT, provides assistive equipment for hospitals, schools, therapy providers and individual clients. Their support improves the quality of life for clients and carers in Canberra and the surrounding NSW region. We will be very happy to see lots of coins fall into the donation bucket for the organisation!

Come along on Saturday 6 December to the Rotary Pearce Christmas Sparkle Markets between 10-2.30pm being held at the Pearce Community Centre just off Hodgson Crescent and opposite Pearce Shops. The markets are held in conjunction with Pearce Crafters Market. The local community will find quality bric-a-brac, arts and crafts, jewellery and lots more.

Kiri Dog Shop is a small, local arts & crafts business selling original artwork & prints, colouring-in books and tubie tape. Tubie tape is a decorative, skin-safe adhesive tape used to secure medical tubing to the body.

JLW Kreationz are just one of many stallholders open tomorrow at our Spring Markets. They are selling clocks, tote bags, tumblers, earrings, scrunchies and beaded items such as keyrings and car hangers plus handmade baby items so come along, have a browse and start ticking off the Christmas list!
