Hi everyone,
After a long busy weekend at the Bridal & Honeymoon Showcase, I received a negative review on FB by someone who visited the fair.
Furthermore, she continued her attack on instagram & google.
This person claims we 'ridiculed' her and her sister in law, after they asked about pricing on an invitation. My husband was chatting with them, quoted the price & then asked me if it was correct since the invitation was a new design.
I do not know why she thought we were 'making fun of them' because they were confused if the price was for 1 or multiple and required clarification??? Which is absolutely fine, it happens all the time.
Unfortunately, she felt offended. I sympathise, as I too was offended since a premium quality invitation (consisting of 3 different print processes) with 2 envelopes and 2 additional cards for $15 would be mistaken to be for multiples.
I did apologise for my husband in her post for the fact he confirmed the price with me somehow was construed as 'ridicule'.
My husband does not work on or in my business but has been a huge supporter all these years. He runs his own business and actively supports his parents in theirs.
He does not have a design or production background and therefore is learning along the way.
I am gobsmacked at the lengths this person is going to. She has so much hate that making a scene at the expo some 15 minutes after they left our stand was not enough. She has continued to rubbish my business and my name throughout various social media.
She demanded an apology, which I gave with an explanation. However, rather than accepting it was a misunderstanding she has gone on a warpath.
I am sharing this with all my followers not to hurt anyone but to clarify the ill situation. I apologised for the misunderstanding and explained what happened. There are multiple sides to every story and you should not believe everything you read.
I was deeply offended and upset at this ridiculous accusation. In almost 14 years of being in business, I have never ever had a falling out with my clients. With clear communication, there is no reason. I try my very best to provide and accommodate to everybody's requirements & stationery desires.
Today is a new day and I will now put this behind me. Bullies trying to get something for nothing do not win. It is unfortunate that people resort to these hideous tactics to bring someone down in the hope you would give them something for nothing.
There is a reason I produce stationery across all processes, I am a professional and have the expertise. But the number one reason is that I aim to provide something for most. Unfortunately in this case, our best was not good enough.
I will continue to educate many couples on print and production as it is my passion. And I cannot wait to start working with all the lovely people I met over the weekend.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week xx
