Come and Sing Messiah... again!

After last year's wonderful event, we've decided we want a repeat performance.
Come and sing along in the chorus with an ensemble of professional singers, or come and be part of the audience.

Sunday 24 November, 5pm, here at Clayton Wesley.
3pm chorus rehearsal for singers
4pm afternoon tea

Tickets are $30, available at www.trybooking.com/CVZND
($20 concession ticket, and school children free)
Proceeds will go to Spire Community social inclusion advocacy programs.

Next Wednesday the Financial Inclusion Team will be on hand at Hope's Cafe, come along and ask them about your energy bills, budgets, no interest loans and more. We will also be having a free giveaway of some pantry items and competitions.

This year, Homelessness Week runs from 1-7 August, and there are a number of actions you can take. Everybody’s Home is asking for signatures on a petition to Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers, calling for a significant investment in social housing in the October Budget. Please consider signing!

It is all the amazing volunteers of Uniting Communities Eastern Services, Hope's Cafe and Goodies Op Shop, as well as Clayton Wesley Uniting Church who make this community the special place it is. Sadly our beautiful old tree fell last weekend. She sat watching over all the people who have enjoyed community on this site for well over 100 years. We will miss her 💔
