A horticulturist, conservation and land manager, photographer and artist, Green Heart Creations came about after an injury that required a few months off work for Nicole. It was during this time that Nicole started creating a few terrariums and air plant creations for herself. It has now become an obsession and Nicole loves creatin
g them for others to enjoy. Living near the coast, Nicole takes much of her inspiration from the coastal native bushland and beaches and combining this with Tillandsias in her work allows for some unique designs. Tillandsias (air plants) are very unique and diverse in the plant kingdom as they do not require soil for survival. Instead, specialised leaves for their uptake of nutrients from the air and water allow Tillandsia to grow in varying environments from rainforests to the deserts. They are very easy to care for and with Nicole’s unique designs they make an ideal addition to any indoor environment. All glass and other containers are up-cycled where ever possible and materials are sourced with sustainability in mind. Green Heart Creations hopes you love them and is happy to make custom orders.
