Just finished reading this powerful and thought provoking book. I don't normally read books for a second or third time but I'm glad I did.

(Excluding all those family favourite kids books that were read until everyone could recite large chunks 🤣🤣)

Please be advised that all book donations must be delivered to the Nhill Book Fair and we can no longer collect books from individual addresses. There are 3 large metal lockers where books can be left between 8am and 2pm, Monday to Saturday.
While we understand and empathise with those who don't drive and cannot lift heavy boxes, our volunteers also can't be lifting multiple boxes weighing 20+kgs from floor to trailer or car boot.
I also kindly and respectfully ask that people do not ask individual book fair volunteers 'just to pick up a few books as a favour'. In small towns, a favour done for one must be done for all.
As always, we are incredibly grateful for all your donations. Your generosity has meant that we can keep upgrading our books to keep those in good condition.

The Nhill Book Fair is looking for a donation of a washing machine. The agitator needs to work and the water needs to drain out. Everything else (including good looks) is optional.
It will be used to turn some of the unsaleable books into paper mulch, giving them another life.

Thank you everyone for your support. $935 raised today by the Nhill Book Fair. This will go toward our target of $10,000 for airconditioning so that fragile exhibits at the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre can be kept in a climate controlled area.

Super, super book sale this Saturday April 4. Photo is just some of the excess books that will be on sale. Choose from specially marked books on sale outside the bf. $5 plastic shopping bag, $7 'green' shopping bag, or $10 for a box same size as those in the photo.
(If is rains will have to come up with a plan B 😁).
