Its so close to to the weekend 🕺And the weather man says there might be a bit of sunshine🌞
We’re hoping so, because this sunday you’ll find .co along with a tonne of other makers and creators at for the markets! We haven’t been back here since just before Christmas, when my darling mum Nelly made an appearance to help and apparently made it her mission to chat to every stall holder in the place 😂

Today is World Bee day!

Bees need pollen, just like the plants and trees need the bees to pollinate them, and we, need those plants and trees to survive.

Have you ever seen Bees with pollen “pants” on? They look like something out of an MC Hammer film clip.

Different Bees carry pollen in different ways, but pollen pants are up there as my fave. Some collect it all over their furry bodies (kind of like their own little coat) and then they use these little brush-like things on their legs to comb it all down into these baskets….baskets/pants, same same. And hence, the pollen pants.

My mate and I were having a discussion on what is the ultimate fruit…lots of high quality convos we have.

We’re not talking just taste (that’s obvs number a priority) but convinience, do you need to wash it? Do you need a knife to cut it? Is it messy to eat? Also how it travels, does it get smushed in your lunch bag (think 🍑 peach). A fruit that can do it all.
After much (honestly probs a little too much) deliberation, Mandarins came out on top 🥇. A perfectly preserved and protected fruit that is peeled to reveal, snack size pieces. 🤌

Anyways… stay tuned for more hard hitting topics 🤠

Also if you find yourself at the supermarket without a reusable produce bag…take your fruit loose, or if you can’t handle that, grab a paper bag from the mushroom section that can be composted afterwards🍊
