Creative therapy is a real thing.
Should I have been working on my TAFE assessment? Probably.
Did I stay up far too late finishing this? Absolutely.
Do I regret it? Not even a little.
Sometimes creating is exactly what your soul needs, and this little bag brought me so much peace after a tough week.
Made using the gorgeous Cosy Cottage Tote pattern by Mims, I wanted this version to feel like a magical garden. It's filled with Flower Fairies, tiny appliquéd flowers, curious little animals, birds and butterflies tucked into every corner, so there's always another little detail waiting to be discovered.
The soft blush pink against that rich burgundy patchwork has become one of my favourite colour combinations I've ever sewn. Gentle and whimsical, but grounded by those deep, cosy tones.
This one is for Mum, and I hope every time she carries it she finds another tiny detail that makes her smile. 💕🧚🌸✨
