Hi Insta friends
Just want to start by saying a big thank you to everyone who has supported my business over the fast few years and especially thank you to all the fellow small business gals I’ve grown friendships with. I have never experienced female solidarity and support as powerful as this community has shown me!
I am shutting up shop, I love soap making but changes to my personal situation over the past few months have made it hard to continue.
I am however embarking on a new business journey.. something close to my heart, food! Mostly CHEESE tbh 😅

Hi Instafam 👋 each year I donate a percentage of happyhive profits and products from November to a local charity.
This month has gotten away from me as I’ve been in a protesting pit of dispair over the genocide happening in Palestine and couldn’t manage to post anything on this feed. So I will be extending my donation period until the end of December.

I pick charities based on the work they do, how local their impact is and I try to focus on smaller charities who are ground roots organisations.

Since the horrific footage coming out of Gaza has kept me from sleeping for the last 3 weeks I would love to donate to global aid however the aid is not getting through to the people who need it due to deliberate strikes and blockades so for now our energy is better placed spreading awareness and contacting MPs and ministers asking for a ceasefire

The local charity I have chosen for this year is 🙌 they provide essentials to people experiencing DV, homelessness, low income families and people living with disadvantage.

There are so many ways to support this charity which I love! You can provide financial support, volunteer your time or donate stationary, homewares, baby goods, bedding and toiletries

I want to chat real quick about and how I’m running 100km throughout October to raise money for this smack organisation.

Anyone who’s been here for a while knows that
1. When I’m not in my skincare studio I work part time for community mental health
2. I have and will always continue to have my own mental health struggles (running is

my form of therapy) despite the injuries I constantly have
3. 1 in 5 people experience symptoms of mental illness each year
In fact, every day in Australia, 9 people will die by su***de.

Mental illness can be debilitating and can have a devastating impact on not only those living with it, but those around them.

This October, I’ll be taking part in One Foot Forward to help reduce the impact of mental illness and su***de.

I'm running to raise funds for Black Dog Institute, so that they can put ground-breaking new mental health treatment, education, and digital services into the hands of the people who need them most.
