Despite weeks of rain, soggy grounds and morning showers, the Mullumbimby Community Market still came alive today.
The band may have packed down early, but a beautiful core of stallholders stayed on with optimism, warmth and big smiles. The Maypole dance went ahead, the sun eventually arrived, buskers gathered and sang to us, and people lingered over coffee, vintage treasures and good conversations.
A huge thank you to the girls who stayed behind helping untangle the Maypole ribbons, to the musicians and buskers who kept the atmosphere alive, to our dedicated stallholders who showed up through uncertain weather, and to every visitor who came out to support local.
Days like today remind us what community really is.
