Golden Mount Nursery we were the original nursery situated in the banks of the dam in my morgan until we closed 6 years ago to start internet trading. Now.. we are back to stay

This is the page for Golden Mount Nursery in Mt Morgan. We were previously situated on the banks of the No7 dam in mount Morgan until our closure a few years ago. WE continued on our business through internet trading and finally decided early this year to open an actual premises again. As yet our premises are not ready but we will be increasing our internet side of things to include faceb

Wow it's been a busy time for us.

Yep still here! Been extremely busy in the background trying to keep the online side going with minimal water for quite some time now. Once the creeks filled the first time we ramped up production ready to hit retail again!

Good news, we will be at the wattle festival with our rose stock and a selection of other plants!!!! Over the coming months the regularity of posts will increase as well as an updated stock list / newsletter.

Hi all. Just thought I would post. We are still here and we have been busy while the water situation here was less than favourable. We had to scale down all our bigger plants to make carting water easier so everything new that had been grown is in tubes. I will be updating lists and pages hopefully this week with what stock we have that is ready. We are going to try and make the most of the fact the creek has some water in it for now.

Hey all, We are still here. been going since 2001 and still at the mercy of the weather. We are not carrying a great variety of sellable stock currently as we have had to compress down to primarly tube stock and stock plants to make carting water easier. In saying that we will be back once this weather breaks.

On a lighter note, WE have recieved our roses and they will be ready (some of them) to go this week coming. I do realise that our wonderful town is struggling for water but we always open our books to the locals first before we go to our other clientelle across the regions.

I will be posting updated lists hopefully tomorrow. Right now my fingers are not sure how to coordinate themselves and are frozen lol. Stay warm and hang in there :)

Hi everyone. We have received quite a few messages recently surrounding roses and plants in general. This is just an update from us.

Currently, we are out of water completely. Our bore has gone dry and we are carting water from the dispensary in Gracemere. As you can imagine, our plants are hanging in there but not looking spectacular enough for us to sell. We are hoping for some rain. I shall keep you updated as to when our new stock (and recovering current stock) is ready to be sold. Sorry for the inconvenience but it’s out of our control.

We have had a little bit of a family “emergency” here so we will have to give these markets tomorrow a miss. I still heavily recommend you go to baree and check them out as there is quite a few stalls there tomorrow. Sorry about this everyone

Guess who will be at the baree markets next weekend? That’s right! We have bitten the bullet and decided to take out a site. We will be bringing along a selection of our roses, plants and ornaments. The ornaments will be on sale and make perfect gifts! Come on down and say hi

Hi all, we are still here.

We have had a little bit of a setback with everything here at the nursery. never fear, we will be setting up at the Wattle festival on the 7th of September at the railway station in mount morgan. We will have our roses (if the possum can leave them alone for a few days) and free mount morgan wattle seedlings to give away (quantities will be weather pending).

I will be updating our rose list on here once our new stock is in full leaf. :)

Album is up. Prices are for bare rooted and will be active till 14/6/19. After this the plants will be in pots and not available for 8 weeks. Prices will rise. We are expecting another order mid june and it is a big one.

Until saturday 9/6/19 we will be offering the roses in this album as barerooted. There will be no pots associated with them. Advice and information will be given to those who wish for it.

If you dont want barerooted, these roses will be at least 8 weeks away from being sold as potted. This gives the plants time to take in the pots.

The prices given in this album is for bare rooted only! once potted the prices will be increasing slightly. Delivery will be from Saturday through till friday next week. After that this album will be taken down and prices no longer current. Please book roses to be delivered within this time frame or we will not be able to guarantee this price.

We will be offering our roses bare rooted for a very very limited time. After this, there will be an 8 week wait for the roses again so they can take to their pots.
