Before we head up to Brisbane on Monday to finally catch up with family, I though I’d share my project for ‘me’ that has kept me busy, in between Sockies 🐒 and Teddies 🧸

I fell in love with Emma Jean Jansen ‘Ampersand’ a while back. So with a caravan coming soonish, I thought I’d give it my best shot. The last quilt I made was over 25 years ago ….. yikes 😳

…… as promised, some more information about Bertie.

Bertie started out many, many years ago as a bunny 🤫 and I made more than I can remember. Moving forward to 2021, we now have Bertie Bear 🐻

He is made from a curly Sherpa type fabric and is approximately 60 cm tall with his boots on!!His jacket and trousers are corduroy with his shirt being a co-ordinating cotton fabric.

To have a Bertie at your house to encourage your children or grandchildren with their buttons and zips and shoe laces will cost $80.00.

I’d love to talk to you about colours for your very own Bertie. DM me for more information.

He is one clever little fella indeed. Check out the photos:

* shoe laces to tie
* buckle and zip to master
* buttons to manoeuvre
* press studs to snap
* analogue clock, because we all need to
be able to use one

So there he is….. Bertie 🐻❤️

Still plenty of time ….. and fabric for me to create a personalised Santa Sack for a special person in your family🎄🎄
Each Sack is approximately 70 x 50 cm with a base price of $45 plus $2.50 for each letter of the name. Choose your fabric and leave to borders and name for me to co-ordinate ☺️
Here are some of the ones I’ve done this year and fabric again.
