Important Information for anyone who pays their household rentals via Centrepay -
Centrelink has announced they are intending to reform the Centrepay system; and as part of this intend to stop the ability to use Centrepay for the following service reasons:

- Social and Recreational commitments
- Household Goods Lease and Rental *(this one will affect your payments to Rentasaur and other rental companies)
- Basic Household Items
- Funeral Expenses
- Some Food Provision services
- Motor Vehicle Registration
- Employment Expenses
- Savings

What this will mean for you -

- Anyone who currently pays their household rentals via Centrepay will need to set up a Direct Debit arrangement instead
- Any missed payments via the Direct Debit system (e.g. not enough money in your bank account, account closed, etc) are charged a bank dishonour fee (sometimes by both our bank AND yours)
- Multiple missed payments can put you at risk of repossession of the rental goods.

If you currently use Centrepay for any of the above service reasons, Centrelink is asking for feedback on these proposed reforms and how it will affect you. Until midnight next Monday 21st April, you can give your feedback at:
