🎉 Big News: Monto Community Inc. is Now a Registered Charity, a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) with Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Status!
We have some absolutely incredible news to share with our wonderful community, supporters, and partners.
Monto Community Inc. has officially been granted Charity Status as a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) status, including Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status!
This is a massive milestone for our organisation, and it opens up exciting new doors for how we can serve and support Monto and the North Burnett.
What does this actually mean?
In plain English, it means two big things:
1. Your donations are now tax-deductible: Anyone who makes a donation of $2 or more to Monto Community Inc. can now claim it as a deduction on their income tax return. You support us, and the tax office supports you!
2. Access to more funding: As a registered PBI, we now qualify for a much wider range of philanthropic grants, corporate sponsorships, and government funding that were previously out of reach.

Every dollar we receive goes directly back into making our community a better, more vibrant, and more supportive place to live. Whether it's funding local projects, providing essential community services, or backing initiatives that lift up those who need it most, this official status ensures we can do more of it, more sustainably.
