Remember the unfinished jacket. Deciding to go with the braid or not. Decided not. So sent away for some frog fasteners, added shoulder pads and cuffs to sleeves and now am quite pleased with the result

My latest work. I was commissioned to up grade these chairs. Task accepted and complete. Enjoyed doing these. Always good to do something different and challenge myself. Keeps the brain agile.

Been doing some bag making out of souveneir tea towels. I am donating to my mum's church for their trading table. Money goes towards the shelter for women who have been subjected to domestic violence. If anyone has some unused souvenir tea towels that they don't really want I am happy to receive them.

Been doing a bit of bag making. Totes and bucket style totes. A few were made out of souvenir tea towels that were languishing in the cupboard. Going to mum's local church for their trading table. I have a couple for my own use of course

Hi everyone, So not having put anything on this page for quite some time - twice in one day: WOW!!

When not actually dressmaking I like to dabble in home decor. Just finished the spare room . Before and after shots. I made the valance, small cushions and just finished making the headboard with a little help from Dean. It proved to be very heavy. It is a small room so hard to get a decent picture. The duvet cover and pillow cases were out on sale at Spotlight so I bought several sets which enabled me to make the extras.
Sorry about the clutter on the bed for the before shot, must have been doing a bit of cleaning or doing my hair - who knows.
