To celebrate an incredible 60 years of Play School, we’ve welcomed the beautiful new Tara Treasures felt collection into Ruperts..

These handcrafted felt toys bring some of Play School’s most loved characters to life, making them perfect for little imaginations, story time and nostalgic gifts for parents and grandparents who grew up with the show too.

This month I put pen to paper and wrote my second letter for 💌

Do you know how it works?

Ruperts as a Letter-Keeper receive and hold letters on behalf of letter writers, allowing them to find a pen pal without sharing their home address.

You can choose from a range of destinations across the globe and write an introductory letter to someone in that community, sharing a little about yourself and where you’re from. 💁🏻‍♀️

Once your letter is ready, you can pop it in to Ruperts, addressed to the Letter-Keeper shop you’ve chosen. This is how you’ll find your pen-pal. Make sure to add the address of your local Letter-Keeper on the back so they know where to send any replies to.

Thanks to a kind donation, Ruperts is delighted to cover the postage cost of your first letter. 📮

Alternatively, you can visit Ruperts and browse a collection of introductory letters that have already been written. We have many letters to browse in store. Choose one that interests you, write a reply, and begin a correspondence from there.
