If the food supply tightened tomorrow… would you know how to put meat in your own freezer?

Over the past few years we’ve all seen how quickly the food system can change — rising costs, shortages, and increasing pressure on producers.

Because of this, learning how to process your own livestock is becoming a valuable skill again.

After more than 30 years in the trade and running Mick’s Butchery Service, I’ve decided to make my butchery training available on my website.

In this training I walk through the same practical methods I use every day, showing how to take an animal from carcass to clean, freezer-ready cuts.

The same principles apply to:
• Sheep
• Goats
• Deer
• Alpacas

This training is suited to farmers, hunters, livestock owners, or anyone wanting to become more self-reliant and take greater control of their food supply.

There is a cost involved, as the knowledge shared normally takes years to learn through experience in the trade.
