I’ll be heading to Japan for a month to visit family and for a sourcing trip, so we’ll be running on temporary opening hours for April.
My friend Karin will be looking after the shop while I’m away.

Opening hours
Thursday–Saturday 10:00am–3:00pm
Sunday 10:00am–2:30pm

Online orders are still open, and orders placed between 9th April and 10th May will be shipped from 11th May.

I’ll be back in early May, and will share the May calendar closer to the end of this month.

We’ve created a small ikebana corner in store, featuring a beautiful arrangement by Aya sensei, in celebration of the upcoming Ikenobo exhibition in Sydney this August.

The exhibition marks the Ikenobo Sydney Chapter’s 30th anniversary, with demonstrations by Headmaster Designate Senko Ikenobo. It’s a special occasion that celebrates decades of cultural exchange through ikebana.

There’s something really special about seeing ikebana up close, the balance, the quiet movement, the space around each element. It’s simple, but never plain.

It’s been such a joy to have this in the shop, even just for a short while.

The shop is closed today.

My daughter has been unwell since yesterday. Some of you who popped into the shop may have noticed she was there. When we moved into this space I made a little comfy corner for her at the back so she can stay with me on days she can’t go to school. Unfortunately she now has a temperature, so she needs to stay in bed and rest today.

I’m still working from home, so if you have any questions feel free to DM me or email [email protected]. And of course the online store is open 24/7 😊
