Hi, if you’re new here - I’m Dim, the person behind Five Fillies, pictured with my Mum, Leisa - the extra set of hands behind the scenes.
I thought it’s about time with a few more followers that I reintroduce myself and give you the run down of Five Fillies.
I’m now a mum to 2 little girls, but this time 9 years ago, I was 3 months in at my new job at a feedlot. It didn’t take me long for my very pale skin to be roasted by the sun- especially my shirt v. I needed to sort this out ASAP.
I quickly got working on a tie up style, which did the job for a while, but I was sick of tying them up and them spinning around my neck. There’s got to be a better way, right?
It didn’t take long to figure out the clip up scarves, although it did take about 12 months to perfect them, probably about that time was when a friend suggested putting a button loop on them to hook around your button to stop them from spinning around your neck(genius). DONE - our scarf was perfected - complete with top stitching, 2 sets of snap clips and a button loop.
Fast forward to now, we are still here doing the same thing, just a little slower.
