🌳🍎 NEW ARRIVAL - Apple Trees 🍎🌳

Hi Gardeners,

We have received our Autumn stock of new Apple Trees 🌳

🍎 Columnar Apples - perfect for pots and narrow spaces. These trees will grow to only 60cm wide! The tree will grow apples directly off the trunk and will reach heights of approximately 3m

🍏 Dwarf Apples - another great option for pots and small spaces. If you are looking for something shorter then these trees will only reach approximately 2m tall and 1m wide.

🍎 Standard Apples - Can grow to 5-8m (can be kept smaller with pruning) and are more drought tolerant thanks to their deeper root system. They are a longer living tree, often lasting 50-100 years.

Apple trees require 2 specific varieties to cross pollinate in order to get fruit. Our friendly team can help you choose the best varieties to grow a bountiful harvest.

Apple trees grow in Perth’s full sun (consider shade for the first summer) in well draining soil that has been built up with compost.

Planting in Autumn is ideal so they can have a chance to establish roots before our hot summer arrives.

🍂🌳 New Arrivals - Plum Trees 🌳🍂

Hi Gardeners,

We have received a new shipment of Plum Trees 🌳

We have a large variety of low chill dwarf plum trees (perfect for fruiting in our warmer coastal winters) as well as standard Plum trees.

A dwarf plum tree will grow to 2-2.5m and can be planted directly in the ground or in a pot - perfect for small spaces!

A standard plum tree will grow to 3-4m high and is perfect for those gardens with a little more room.

Autumn is a perfect time to plant stone-fruit. The hot weather has passed but the ground is still warm which will give the roots a chance to establish before winter.

Plant in soil rich in organic matter and mulch well to protect during summer. Stone fruit can grow in full sun. Considering protecting for the first summer.

We have so many varieties of dwarf fruit trees so come in and see us this week in the nursery to find the best option for your garden.

Our friendly staff will help you choose pollinating partners to get the most of out your harvest.

🟠🌿 New Arrival - Grafted Loquat Trees 🌿🟠

Hi Gardeners,

Come and see us in the nursery this week for a new arrival of grafted loquat trees!

The delicious sweet fruit have a honey sweetness with a mild tang, often described as a mix of orange, apricot and peach.

Grafted loquats produce excellent quality fruits that are ready to be harvested in 1-3 years compared to a seedling loquat that can take over 6 years to bear fruit.

Loquats are a sun loving tree with beautiful foliage that thrive in our warm summers.

Loquats grow well in the garden reaching 2 - 5m and can be easily pruned to keep small. They can also be grown in large pots.

🟠 Enormity - produces large fruit with golden flesh, bears heavy crops

🟠 Chatsworth - medium to large fruit with creamy flesh, produces heavy crops

Have you visited the Winter Kalamunda Garden Festival before? With less than 4 weeks to go it’s a great time to buy tickets and plan your day!

The Kalamunda Garden Festival is a fun-filled day for the whole family.

There are over 130 different gardening stalls, loads of great food trucks and entry includes free talks from some of Australia’s favourite gardening experts.

Guest speakers including Connie Cao, Craig Castree, Tammy Huynh, Chloe Thomson, plus many more.

We will be bringing tropical fruit trees, citrus, avocados, native edibles and a great selection of dwarf Fruit Trees.
