Still on a high from experiencing Cirque de Soleil 'Crystal' last night.
It was phenomenal!
Everything from the different set pieces being sled in- like looking at kaleidoscope fragments spinning; the lighting, the choreography....and then the physicality of the performers was just awesome!
I have new appreciation for the song "Halo", that segment left me mesmerised and teary-eyed, it was so, so beautiful ❤️
Mr Ten was absolutely blown away by it all. His word for the show was "SPECTACULAR".
If you get a chance, you need to go and see it!
(I normally would have taken more pictures than this, but I didn't want to miss a second!)

A big bespoke arrangement for the local Primary School foyer- she's huge!!!
We discussed the need for it to be long lasting & to predominantly feature Aussie natives, so I mixed dried Kangaroo paw & eucalyptus with "real touch" artificial flowers from . The Warratahs are amazing!
It's a different direction for me, but I'm here for it.

"Every cloud has a silver lining!"

My old employer recently went in a new direction with the floral department- I mean they veered totally off course!!
There was no mention to me about any of it...I do realise that it's their prerogative as a business to try new things if something isn't working (I've done so myself) but some forewarning would have been nice, some discussion...especially since they took one of my ideas on board!

Instead, I was ghosted for 2weeks, no shifts, no reply to texts- the door was firmly slammed in my face...

Now a new door has opened & through it I have found a fully welcoming, warm, supportive company that treats their team with total respect. I'm shocked at how nice they are!!
My new manager is collaborative and not criticising; and recognises my creative talent- I actually feel really lucky!
