What was once a National day to acknowledge bicycles and their riders, has now become a month long exercise for commercial buildings across Melbourne. We turned it into a month because the demand for on-site bike servicing was simply too big to fulfil in one day.
The month of October sees many buildings convert their End of Trip Facilities into bike shops, where their tenants can consult with professional bike mechanics about specific issues and enjoy free tune ups and safety checks. It’s more than a marketing exercise. It’s a chance for the building to provide a truly useful and valuable service to its tenants. Not only those who ride into work already, but those who want to get on their bikes and try the cycling commute for the first time.
