Enzo Mari

Finally made one for myself.

This table is based on a design by Enzo Mari, an Italian designer who, in 1974, released a series of open-source furniture plans called Autoprogettazione. The idea was simple: anyone could build good design using basic timber and tools.

Built this one with a recycled Oregon top and pine (70 × 35) for the base — simple construction, no fuss, with proportions adjusted to suit my place.

Pretty satisfying having something at home that I made start to finish.
