Pickup making, re winding, no hum shielding of electric guitars, fret dressing or replacement, exacting set ups and modifications. I am in the business of not only repairing and setting up instruments, but informing and educating the owners about their prized possessions. I am also more than a little tired of the shonky advice and repairs from some in the industry, and the lies and so called myths

VPAF57 alnico 2 humbuckers in aged cases. And not wax potted either.
I tend to put a small amount of wax in the cover first to help stop the ringing of it with pick noises, and help ward off the microphonic reverb the covers themselves can add sometimes. You can choose either, or wax potting
Each Orpheus pickup is custom made to your request, so individual touches, wind amounts and ageing are added if you ask for them. Generally free too.
You only have to ask…..😁

Orpheus VPAF57’s in aged white. All the goodnesses, al2 magnets, plain enamel wire, proper keeper bar, pole pieces and yeah, even a real maple spacer too
And this sets is unpotted, as requested by the new owner
So if you want as close as you can get to the real thing in either a 57 or 58 style al5 pickup, let me know 😁
