Did you have a moment that you thought was going to end differently than it did?

I remember the first time I was breastfeeding my older daughter in a shopping centre. I could see an older lady looking at us and she started approaching us. I was ready to defend myself and my right to feed my child where we were comfortable, but instead she said to me, “it’s so lovely so see a mother breastfeeding her baby. I wasn’t able to feed mine and it always makes me happy when I see a mum who can”. 😭😭😭

Self care Sunday.
What do you do to fill your own cup? As parents we all know how easy it is to give 100% all the time which is why it’s so important to take a moment for yourself. So tell me, what do you do that’s just for you?
I run. Three times a week I put my earphones in and listen to a musical theatre soundtrack or true time podcast and run as far and fast as my little legs will take me! I’ve got my sights set on a full marathon in 2023. It would be easy for me to think I’m being selfish, but I try and reframe that when I see my girls watching me be healthy, a better, calmer mum and setting goals that I’m constantly working towards.
