Celebrating special occasions in classic French style at at The Block Arcade.

Le Petit Chateau brings a little corner of France to the heart of The Block, serves traditional crêpes, galettes, baguettes, salads and French pastries in a setting already known for its European charm, mosaic floors and old world detail.

It is a place to pause between boutiques, watch crêpes prepared in front of you, and enjoy a taste of France within one of the city’s most beautiful heritage landmarks.

Morning tea, lunch, then a little afternoon wine and cheese, all without leaving Melbourne.

The Block Arcade does the European day out properly. A crêperie stop, a long lunch, a sweet treat and a tea, a glass of something, a few favourite boutiques in between.

It is not a plane ride to Paris or Milan, it is a walk in, or a quick train ride, and suddenly you are somewhere else. See you at The Block!

Weekend incoming...

Step inside the Block Arcade and let the city slow down for a moment. Beneath the glass canopy, between the mosaic floors, heritage shopfronts and beautiful details, there is always something worth pausing for.

A timeless Melbourne walk, made for the weekend.

Repost from the incredible

Some things are worth bringing back. The iconic red jackets are back, made once again by the incredible Adriano Carbone, who created all the original costumes for Jersey Boys Australia back in 2009.
The fact that he's making them again, for us four guys, means everything.

Thank you Adriano Carbone, Master Tailor - Premium Bespoke Hand Made Suits.

At the grand entrance to The Block Arcade, sets a fitting first impression.

Framed by one of Melbourne’s most beautiful historic arcades, the boutique brings Japanese watchmaking into a setting defined by proportion, detail and permanence. It is a quiet meeting of precision and place, where the art of timekeeping sits at the threshold of a landmark built to be remembered.

Begin your walk through The Block with a closer look.

Sometimes we do forget just how extraordinary Melbourne really is.

The Block Arcade is one of those rare places that still makes people stop, look up, and feel something.
The mosaic floors.
The dome.
The iron lacework.
The arcade clock.

The small details that have carried more than 130 years of stories.

Built during Melbourne’s great boom era, The Block remains a place of craftsmanship, beauty and memory, right in the heart of the city.

Thank you for capturing it so beautifully.
