🍇 OKINAWA SEA GRAPES 🍇
Sea grapes, known in Japanese as ‘umi-budo’, are actually a type of seaweed. Compared to usual seaweed in sushi and snacks, sea grapes resemble miniature grapes (hence their name) which are actually tiny green bubbles which pop in the mouth when chewed (like salty popping pearls!). Sea grapes can be eaten with rice, sashimi, beer for example.
