If y’all were wondering what our relationship is like since I moved interstate, this picture pretty much sums it up ❤️‍🔥 fkn thriving baby!!!
I am so excited to do an episode on our podcast about moving interstate.. So much to unpack 🤯 (& I know what you’re thinking… ‘where’s the podcast Mel’ - I swear it’s coming!!!) but back to my point 🤪 one of the fear-based thoughts I originally had was whether I would be able to maintain any of my friendships.

Tell ya what, I’ve definitely lost a few, but there has also been a handful of friendships that have strengthened even moreso since moving away. Some people have really shown up for me, supported me and my life choice of relocating and checked in every step of the way! It has been really bloody hard at times, but I’ve still felt at home even though I’ve been so far away, and I’m confident I’ll never doubt the strength of these friendships in the future.

Blessed, loved, nourished and ready for our next chapter together 👯‍♀️💫🌻🦋🤸‍♀️🤍

Did anyone else focus so much on birthing knowledge that they felt majorly underprepared for postpartum? 🤷🏽‍♀️

We are so passionate about ensuring a mama is nurtured during postpartum because we generally learn so much about the birth, that postpartum hits you in the face like the amount of washing that follows 😅

If you know a mama in the depths of postpartum, we encourage you to reach out this week and ask how they are, if they are eating enough nourishing foods, drinking enough water, getting any rest. Can you spare an hour of your time to go over and tidy their house, put on the dishwasher or a load of washing? We can assure you they won’t reach out and ask, and they’ll probably say not to worry because they won’t want to burden you! But trust us they will appreciate it more than you know 🫶🏼

Unfortunately today isn’t a celebration for everyone, and we want to send love to those who never knew their mothers, have lost their mothers or have estranged relationships with their mothers. You deserve to be loved just as much as every other and we hope this reminds you of that today 🤎
