It’s the last weekend for the Pop-up shop (next door) so I will be in the op shop working so I can unlock it and lock it up. So we will be open this weekend 10am - 2pm. Stop past the Popup shop for some last minute amazing work by local artist, clothing and crafts etc and show your support. From Ella (15 years old) who sells her artwork to raise money to help her rescue cats to Peni a wonderful woman who had spent decades making her wonderful mini people art. Or maybe you need some fantastic non toxic lip gloss made by a local celebrity who needed safe makeup for herself onset so she worked tirelessly to create her own range of safe non-toxic products for her and her family and everyone else. Maybe your taste is more in the range of artwork? So pop in and checkout some of sally Walsh linoprints or some of the amazing lampshades, indigenous artwork, hand embroidered clothing, Judy’s amazing artwork with her knitted characters…… gosh the list goes on and on… I guess I’ll have to make myself a coffee and relax after writing this long post on the amazing cafe quality automated barista machine we have there. Even if your not in the vibe to spend just pop past the Popup shop and check out thier hard work. ☕️☕️☕️

New Seller, our youngest entrepreneur yet!
Gretas Collection
Greta is a 13 year old who lives in West Footscray. Ever since she was little, she would make gifts for her friends and family. She uses different art mediums and loves trying new things. Greta makes clay earrings, beaded necklaces and bracelets, stickers, clay trays, macrame keyrings and plant hangers and loves sewing stuffed animals, scrunchies and clothes. She has been doing macrame for 2 years and started sewing this year.
Come down to support her stand this week from Thursday 8 September.

ShlinkiStitches is Shalini Akhil, a Footscray-based creative.
She began making embroidery art in 2020, starting with plant portraits. These developed into the 'Nook' series, which imagines different scenes around a central armchair to emulate how, while we sheltered in place in lockdown, we all dreamed of different versions of our realities.
Her latest design, the 'Not Now Not Ever' hoops, are a tribute to former prime minister Julia Gillard's powerful 2012 misogyny speech.

Crochet Items Made With Love;

Crochet is not just a hobby, it is a big part of who I am. I need to create. I need to express myself, and I find that when I grab my hook and yarn, I am letting the world what mood I am in, what is inspiring me, and what emotions I want to let out.
I am an optimist. I love life. I always try to see the positive side of things.
