End of an era 🏡

I moved into this house in 2021 — my first solo rental and a journey in and of itself.

Since then, I’ve built a life here. A business. A community. A garden. Versions of myself that didn’t exist before. It’s been a safe place to rediscover parts of myself that were lost and a landing pad for others in their own moments of need.

And now, very suddenly, I’ve been given notice to vacate as the house is being sold.

The timing’s… not ideal.

I’ve got just over 4 weeks to pack up an entire house + workshop before heading to suppliers in Thailand, and then straight into 2 months on the road for festivals in Queensland.

So I’m doing something I don’t do easily… I’m asking for help.

If you, or someone you know, has capacity to help with any of the below, I would be incredibly grateful:

• A safe, loving place for Hunter for June–August 🐾
• Short-term storage space (garage, shed, spare room)
• Help packing / sorting / moving / tip runs
• Help building/installing basic 4WD touring fit out
• Gardening / green waste / general yard cleanup
• Help listing things on Marketplace
• Even a place for me to land briefly in August when I get back to Melbourne (yes, even a driveway)

I’m more than happy to return the favour however I can: jewellery, dog sitting, hands on help, a slab of beer, cash money if that’s what you need - whatever feels fair.

This place has held a lot of life for me. Letting it go is big.
But I’m trusting this is making space for what’s next.

Yep. Found out two weeks before. Yep. It’s a 12-hour drive into NSW.
And yep… we’re still packing the car, the pets are judging us, and the wire is flying everywhere.
But honestly? Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Fresh wraps for the week 🥰🎉🙌
Slow work, steady hands, and a whole lot of tiny wire chaos holding these pieces of magic together.
They take hours ✨literally ✨ and I’m finally learning to honour that instead of shrinking it down. Handmade isn’t quick, and it’s definitely not cheap, but damn… the end result is worth it 🔥

And honestly? My customers have been telling me to raise prices long before the economy ever forced everyone else to. I’m lucky to have a community that gets it. 🫶

I’ve been working with much higher-grade cabs and rarer stones lately — the kind I used to be too scared to touch. They’ve pushed my work to a new level, but don’t stress, I’ll be bringing back more familiar stones and accessible price points too. I just… got carried away with shiny rocks for a minute 😅

What a fantabulous weekend with at Weaselstock 2025!!! We had such a beautiful event filled with connection, sunshine, (flies, so many flies!) and JOY!!!

Some highlights
✨ Olivia went home with my tri coloured ammonite statement torque necklace (she’s been looking for a home for a while)
✨My first ever adjustable silver opal ring with a dark opal from lightning ridge found its forever home
✨I got the honour of making an ENGAGEMENT RING
✨ I got to to refind lost friends AND bling myself out! (Looking at you )
✨I got to experience the joy of connection & witness the souls caring for our shared earth (thank you for all your hard work! We are all just chips in the same bag, indeed!)

Massive thank you to for putting on such a rad event and making sure only the best examples of the human race know about it 🫶

First time wrapping opals 🫣
Not gonna lie, it’s been scary as hell working with something this fragile (and this pricey 😅). But also? So damn rewarding. Every little flash of colour felt like a little dream come true.

All sterling silver, all made this week — a mix of Lightning Ridge, Boulder & Ethiopian opals. Each one taught me to slow down, breathe, and trust my hands a bit more. 💎

Still learning, still shaking, still proud. ✨

Rapt with Joy has been invited to be a permanent maker at the iconic St Kilda Esplanade Market - every Sunday! 🌞✨

This market has been running for over 50 years and is one of Victoria’s most visited handmade hubs. They rarely accept new jewellery artists, so this is a huge honour and milestone for us.

Come soak up the sea breeze, say hi, and browse our handcrafted creations - made with joy, always.

Finally had a chance to sit down and play with my new torch and bench today! Behold…. This copper mock up of an imagined monstrosity 😁

I’m so excited for all the opportunities having a bench set up brings!

In case any one was wondering, the silver garnet ring on the left is my first ever benched piece and the silver opal ring on the right is a original 🥰 (with added super special repairs made with an opal we fossicked together on our recent trip to lightning ridge)
