I’ve been avoiding this post for a good while now, but am ready to share with you all that after much avoidance we finally sad goodbye to Dads dog Buddy. Dad made the very difficult trip to the vet with Buddy in his favourite place in the work Ute to send him off. As you can see in the photo he was stoked to be going for a ride. I’m not sure who out of us 3 kids or dad cried the most (I’m crying now so probably me 😩)!
Many of you would have been greeted at the barn, got a surprise kiss or gone for a walk with Buddy, he just loved meeting everyone! It is very odd without him and no dog on the farm anymore, he is sorely missed.

As the group who had booked for this weekend moved in on Friday, we remembered to take some photos of the latest changes...

As the group who had booked for this weekend moved in on Friday, we remembered to take some photos of the latest changes to the Barn. Nahrae and her dad, Mervyn, have been working hard to bring some needed updates inside. There is an updated bathroom and some new shelving. The downstairs accommodation has two new beds in there replacing the old ones.

The ladies who hs arrived from Perth commented that everything is looking fresh and new.

I have prepped my cream one with 2 different colour ways from Cottage Garden Threads range. So excited to get stuck into these to see how they turn out!
Not sure quite how I’m going to set them out but I’ll figure that out as I go I guess!

Collingully Cottage is a lovely place to spend a weekend sewing, crafting or just relaxing with a group of friends on a beautiful working farm.
There are a few weekend dates still available for 2024 but they are filling up fast.
While weekends are the norm for stays, week day stays can be negotiated with Nahrae. Just pop her a dm and she will get in touch.
The "Barn" has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet along with dormitory style accommodation. Spend a weekend sewing with your friends while surrounded by tempting fabrics and other goodies!
While the barn does sleep ten people, eight is the optimum number as that provides a work table each.
Minimum number for a booking is 5 pax.
