It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the closure of Stoker Books.

Since opening the shop in 2021, the bookshop has grown into something far more meaningful than I ever expected. It was started simply as a way to support myself through university, but thanks to all of you it became a wonderful little community of readers who love books as much as I do.

Unfortunately, the time has come for me to step away. Running the shop properly requires more time than I’m able to give, and with increasing costs — from shop fees to shipping — as well as some health issues, I’ve had to make the difficult decision to close the store.

To say thank you for all the incredible support over the years, everything in the shop is now half price. Discounts will be calculated at check out. Unfortunately, no gift wrapping will be available at this time.

After a time, all remaining stock will be donated. All reading books will be donated to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and all reference books and literary gifts will be donated to the Cat Haven.

I’m so deeply grateful to everyone who supported Stoker Books — whether you placed an order, recommended the shop to a friend, sent a kind message, or simply shared a love of books with me. Your support meant more than you probably realise.

I don’t know what the future holds, but perhaps one day Stoker Books might return — bigger and better. For now, thank you for being part of this chapter.
